Transition to More Sustainable Materials
Our product packaging is gradually being converted to more resource-efficient solutions. We avoid plastic wherever cardboard-based alternatives can be used. Where plastic is technically necessary, we use packaging containing recycled material. In the long term, our goal is to make our product packaging as plastic-free and recyclable as possible.

Standardised Packaging and Packaging Sizes
The packaging for our cutting discs is being converted to standardised, demand-oriented dimensions. This reduces the number of different packaging formats and outer cartons required. At the same time, storage, order picking, and goods handling are simplified, while material consumption is reduced.

Less Filling Material and Shipping Volume
Optimised packaging sizes enable products to fit more precisely into shipping cartons. Less empty space means less filling material and more efficient use of the available shipping volume. In this way, we reduce packaging waste while creating more compact shipments that are easier to handle.

Future-Proof Packaging
With our sustainable packaging transition, we are already well prepared for the requirements of the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), which will apply from 12 August 2026.

By increasing the use of recyclable cardboard packaging, consistently reducing plastic, and using resource-efficient materials, we are creating responsible and future-proof packaging solutions. At the same time, we are reducing packaging waste and meeting increasingly stringent regulatory requirements. Our customers therefore benefit from safe, efficient, and sustainably designed packaging concepts that optimally combine product protection, cost-effectiveness, and environmental responsibility.
